After achieve final goal of upper mustang trek the “Lo Manthang” travelers heading towards to visit Dhi / Yara / Ghara and Luri Gompa. Lo Manthang to Yara trek distance is 16.6 kilometers / 10.3 miles. It takes 5 to 6 hrs to reach Yaragaon by foot. Yara village situated at the elevation of 3607 meters above sea level. The trail is mostly flat and easy to navigate, but there are some steep climbs and descents along the way.
As soon as leaving Lo-manthang you will cross Lo la 3960 meters pass. Trail follows the same route to Tsarang till near the Sungda Chhorten. After crossing the still bridge you trek go towards the Yaragaon crossing the Dhigaon and Surkhang village.
