Short Manaslu Circuit trek a quick version of classic Manaslu circuit trek, allow you to witness the region’s natural and cultural splendor in short timeframe. The highlight of the trek is Mount Manaslu the eighth-highest highest peak of the world. Crossing Larkya La Pass at an altitude of 5,106 meters, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan range.

Mt Manaslu Circuit short trek starts in the picturesque town of Soti Khola or Machha Khola and follows the Budhi Gandaki River upstream, passing through dense forests, terraced fields, ancient monasteries and traditional villages. Immerse yourself in rich culture of local Gurung, Magar and Tamang people and touch their warm hospitality. Trail gradually gains altitude as it winds through narrow gorges, past waterfalls and over suspension bridges.

Short Manaslu trek itinerary complete within 10-11 days, depend on your pace and acclimatization needs. The best time to do this trek is during the pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November) seasons. These months offer clear skies, stable weather and stunning landscapes. Trek offers some of the most stunning views of the Himalayas and takes you through some beautiful villages, where you can experience the unique culture and lifestyle of local people.

• Day 1 : Arrival day in Kathmandu Nepal

  Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to hotel. As soon as we reach hotel, representative will give you a synopsis of plan and program agreement.  After a short rest & relax, you can explore the city and its cultural heritage.
  Elevation: 1,400 meters / 4593 feet.

• Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing and permit preparation

  After breakfast, Kathmandu sightseeing begins to discover world heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley Nepal by car. Our guide takes you to the vibrant streets of city, cultural and historic landmarks like Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath stupa, Patan and Kathmandu durbar square etc. Full day Kathmandu city tour covers most popular tourist attractions like artistic palaces, courtyards, ancient stupas, museum and temples. After sightseeing, we will be back to hotel and organize meeting about trip. You spent rest of the day for gear shopping, packaging, exploring vibrant streets of Thamel and enjoying delicious local cuisine.

• Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola 930 meters / 3051 feet
• Day 4 : Trek to Jagat 1410 meters / 4625 feet
• Day 5 : Trek to Deng 1800 meters / 5905 feet
• Day 6 : Trek to Namrung 2660 meters / 8727 feet
• Day 7 : Trek to Samagaon 3530 meters / 11,578 feet
• Day 8 : Rest day acclimatization hike to Manaslu Base Camp
• Day 9 : Trek to Samdo 3690 meters / 12106 feet
• Day 10 : Trek to Dharamsala / Larkya base camp 4470 meters / 14665 feet
• Day 11 : Trek to Bimthang 3720 meters / 12, 201 feet via Larkya la 5160 meters / 16, 924 feet
• Day 12 : Trek to Dharapani 1,860 meters / 6102 feet
• Day 13 : Drive back to Kathmandu via Besishahar
• Day 14 : Airport transfer to depart Nepal

  Today we will transfer you to airport 3 hours before scheduled flight to depart from Kathmandu or back home after amazing trip to Himalayas. “Have a safe journey! hope to see you again in future”
