Upper Mustang Tours & Travels accept trip reservation or booking under the following terms and conditions. We request you to read booking terms and conditions from the top to bottom carefully before booking a trip. It helps you to avoid any unexpected costs, that ensure a smooth and stress-free excursion.

Booking Terms and Conditions
Payment policies
Book trip with 30% deposit in advance and rest 70 % pay after arrival before start the trip (all deposits are final and non-refundable).
Final trip cost confirmed at the time of booking (no hidden charge).
As soon as you send deposit or full payment of the trip, company will issue booking conformation receipt and send to you by email.
Method of payment
There are 2 alternative option to make an installment either bank wire transfer or pay online by using credit or debit card. We accept major currencies like usd, euro, gbp, cad, aud at an exchange rate on the day of payment. If you prefer to pay this amount by master card, credit cards or pay pal you have to pay 4% money transfer service charge extra. We accept payment via bank transfer, online payments, credit card payments or alternatively western union money transfer and update our detail to send payment by email to you.
Cancellation policies
Unexpected changes in plans can happen, so it’s important to understand the cancellation policies. We do provide alternative package if the trip cancel due to bad weather and other religious, cultural, economic, political, social causes. In this unexpected situation clients can wait or be flexible to change trip with similar costs or change the date of trip as well.
30 days before the start date: 50% of the total booking amount will be retained.
Less than 30 days before the start date: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained.
If the trip cancel because of the traveler’s problem, return early from trip or drop out of the journey voluntarily, then no refund provided.
Company reserves the right to cancel any of your booked trips for justified reasons, mostly which are not in control of the company.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is essential for all travelers. We advise you to make insurance policies to protect against unforeseen circumstances before visit nepal that covers personal injury, death, medical expenses, helicopter rescue, damage or loss of gears etc. Travel insurance provides peace of mind and protection for unexpected events like flight cancellations or medical emergencies etc. You must provide us your travel insurance policy number and 24-hour emergency contact number before start the trip.
We do provide insurance for our leader, guide, porters, sherpa, kook, drivers and support staff.
Age requirements
Participants must be of legal age (16 years or older) to participate in adventure tours or trek in Himalayas. Members under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Trek and tour modifications
The tour operator reserves the right to modify or cancel any tour, route, , itineraries, amenities, mode of transport or activity without notice due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. By making a reservation, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Privacy Policy
We collect your personal information like Name, email address, phone number, passport number that require for booking and issue the permits to run the trip only. We respect your privacy and are committed to protect your personal information.
Changes to terms and conditions
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us. It will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of nepal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
